mw ifma logoWe participated in the 17th annual Facility Management Week in 2017, which was subtitled “People and Services”and organised by the Czech branch of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). The four-day cycle consisted of facility management lectures and workshops, abounding in information, and related news from this area.

Arridere presented the use of drones in facility management, or “Drone-FM – Aerial Facility Management.” This service can help the owners, operators or managers of properties where inspections of areas / building envelopes are very time-consuming with access possibilities being limited or beyond human capabilities. We presented drones as practical tools, including their variable deployment possibilities (regarding the environment and kinds of work) and their ability to be fitted with useful technical devices (high-definition cameras, thermal imaging cameras, sensors). We outline the possible outputs, such as detailed property condition data, a detailed view with high definition in the order of millimetres per pixel, thermographic photo mosaic, orthophoto maps, 3D models in PDF, etc.

The 2017 Facility Management Week took place this year from 13 to 16 November.

What is the IFMA The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) was founded in the United States at the beginning of the 1990s. Its Czech branch was established in 2000. Arridere is an IFMA member.
